Sep 4, 2007 11:06 AM CDT A Glacier National Park Shuttle bus driver was flown to Kalispell Regional Medical Center after the bus went off the side of the road east of Apgar Village on Sunday.Officials say Benny Gardner of Kalispell was driving the bus westbound on the Going-to-the-Sun Road when he apparently suffered a reaction from a medical condition, drove off the right side of the road, went down a hillside and crashed into trees near Lake McDonald. Gardner was the only person on the bus and was conscious when he was flown to the hospital. The crash happened just one day before the shuttle was scheduled to shut down for the summer.
