Earlier this year, Adventure-Crew became one of the first web sites leading the outdoor industry in switching to a new wide screen format. Now, we have finished another phase in the venture for bigger and better navigating with larger and easier to read regional maps.

The behind the scenes media design crew finished up with a project this week that resulted in almost doubling the onscreen real estate of the navigation maps for the three US regions, West, Central, and East, as well as Alaska, Hawaii and The Virgin Islands. No, you can’t see your house from there but, because we use satellite imagery, you can actually see features like Bryce Canyon, The Grand Canyon and White Sands from a space bird’s eye view.
The new, larger maps give greater detail using available satellite imagery that allows for a better understanding of exactly where each national park is located, and for the larger parks, the actual park boundary footprint in relation to its surrounding geography.
There are more upgrades in the pipeline that will include new technology that will seriously enhance Adventure-Crew’s presentation of our national parks even more, so keep coming back to www.adventure-crew.com
