You could spend a month in Yosemite National Park and still not see everything. This park has more roads and facilities then any other park I have been in. However, for the amount of visitors the park receives there is not enough camp sites. Be sure to come early or reserve a site during the busy season as there is only a little over 400 sites in the entire park. Half Dome is the famous icon of Yosemite, and it is incredible. As with every National Park, just driving through is an adventure, and this is certainly true with Yosemite. There are many backcountry hikes you can take that range greatly in distance. During our trip we took a 20 mile hike through Cathedral Lake, Sunrise Camp, and then off to Tenaya lake. The nice thing about Yosemite is that there is a shuttle bus that can take you back to your car. Be careful though, make sure you know when the last shuttle bus comes, or you might be sleeping on the side of the road.
