Several months ago, I began a journey to lose weight, change my 5’ 11”, 329 lb shape, and live healthier. I began by replacing one and two meals a day with a protein shake, eating a lot more fresh fruits and vegetables, cutting out several of the poisoning agents that I was eating and drinking on a regular basis, and riding a bicycle regularly.
That was before Thanksgiving 2007, and now, about five or six months later, I have lost about fifty pounds, feel and look a lot better, and can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel towards my goal of 200 lbs.
Enter, The Gear Junkie’s recent article about Scott Cutshall.

Scott was a much bigger fella’ than I, and has lived the life time dream of millions of overweight Americans that is done basically through shear power of will, resolve, and character, of changing his weight from over 500 lbs to way below 200; mostly from eating right and riding a bike; two activities that virtually everyone can undertake.
All though this success story in the making struck several notes with me personally because of the several obvious corollaries, Scott’s story is a must read for everyone if for no other reason than to learn that humans can still resolve to accomplish hard things and succeed.
