This park is a perfect example of natures work with water, uplifting and erosion. When you come to Zion, you have to do Angels Landing. This is a 5 mile round trip with a huge elevation gain on the way up. Once there however, you will be standing on this sliver of rock that shoots up in the middle of the canyon with an amazing view. The other incredible hike in Zion is The Narrows. Make sure to bring your water shoes and a walking stick because you will be walking through water most of the time in between narrow canyon walls. This park is over 229 sqaure miles.
