The one that started it all.
We bought this unit in 2006 and have taken it on several trips to national parks. I am unhappy with the difficulty of downloading new road information and am looking for another type of navigation system. Other than the downloading issue, this is an extremely loaded unit with many features and the power of its giant screen makes it the easiest read GPS screen in its class, day or night. We bought it brand new from Best Buy for $399 and will let it go to the highest bidder. We still have the box and all of the aux gear that it came with.
As I search for a replacement, I'll be looking for one with a screen as big as this one, and a great navigation interface like this, also.
FEATURES
-Voice
-Automatic Day/Night modes
-Extremely large memory of personal locations. (In the two years of operating it we have never had to clear the memory to make room for new locations. There dozens and dozens of locations stored in there on top of the already programmed national and state parks that came with it.
-Fully programmable
-Giant screen
-Window or dash mount
